Rural Exodus Anti-Addiction Program

believe that another world is not only possible, but also already being built right here and now, in the ways that youths are organizing with each other, imagining with each other, pushing us all a little further towards liberation. To build that world we imagine, a core set of values guide all that we do at Purposeful.

In our country, we frequently experience humanitarian emergencies including; fire, floods, diseases, ethnic  epidemics, droughts, hunger, among others.

Since 2011 Rural Exodus Programme has been consistent targeting different humanitarian sectors in line with issues in rural communities. This has given us a wide experience in handling disaster in rural areas hence the launch of this Hub.

Our aim is to sustain and further cascade this support, Rural Exodus Programme

We are running Youth Hub for Young activism, rooted in Africa and working all around the world. We amplify youths' voices, resource their resistance, build solidarity between and across young people s' movements, catalyze collaborative philanthropy and support innovation in grassroots, programming with and for young people.
Our work is both global and deeply local in Kenya. We bring our work together into one integrated strategy, sparking a groundswell of youths who can access and imagine new possibilities for themselves and their Communities.

Across the world we organize, and participate in activism through a youth led participatory grantmaking process and for youths Awards. No matter where we are, we work so that youths in rural areas and their allies can access the resources, network, and platforms they need to remark the world for themselves obtaining humanitarian & disaster management skills.
